Sunday I bought my tickets online for a 1:30 matinee of last Jedi. When I arrived there was a huge line and no where to use my pre purchased tickets. No one at the ticket counter. You had to go to the concession counter.. where they were selling tickets and concessions... 20 minutes later they let me through. I complained to manager who apologized and had no answer of what I should do in the future..
Great movie. Good popcorn. 4 star cuz high prices
This AMC theater was a converted Carmike. I watch a LOT of movies, and this theater is one used only for comedies or kids movies. The Theater itself isn't bad, and the popcorn is good. The screens/projectors are decent. The sound unfortunately is sub-par compared to most nowadays. For any of the big blockbusters, I still drive to Toledo or Columbus for a better experience.
Poor service... no advantage for paying the extra fee. We will not do it again.
It sucked!! Over $28 for one person. (Myself) to watch one 3D movie. A medium popcorn which I prepared myself and large coke. I think the movie theater industry will be dead very soon with already steaming movies that are cheaper to rent and more convient with staying in the comforts of home. I see it as a dying industry because movie makers and actors and actresses have made it too expensive for the average movie goer.
If you frequent the theater several times a month I highly recommend getting the AMC stubs premium card for only 15$ it more than pays for itself after two visits. I only wish the popcorn was warm on Tuesdays.
